The SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing antibody test is used to evaluate the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines and to test the immune status of people who have been infected before. After a few days of infection with COVID-19, the body will produce antiviral antibodies. Neutralizing antibodies, as antibodies with antiviral activity, can recognize the surface proteins of the virus and prevent the virus from binding to specific receptors on the cell surface, thereby preventing the virus from invading human cells.
